FLEE FAITHLESSNESS

14 Keep reminding them of these things. “Forgetfulness is the fuel for idolatry (Deuteronomy 4:23). Spiritual amnesia often leads to faithlessness. This is the most important lesson for us in Deuteronomy 4. God’s concern is that his people might ‘forget the things’ that they had seen and that the memory of their gracious deliverance might ‘depart’ from their hearts (Deuteronomy 4:9). HEART SAVOR
• My flesh falls into sin naturally but holiness must be pursued.
• If Solomon and David could fall it is very foolish to think I can’t.
• I am to guard my heart against falling being attentive to my own weaknesses.
